“This game is a great find. If you are looking for a deck building game with player interaction, then you are staring at it right now. If you are fan of the Vikings TV Show, this is the game to buy. This is not a cheap mass market cash in; this is a legit board game that is very good.”

“Overall, I think if you are a gamer and a fan of the show, you’ll love it. For those unfamiliar with the Vikings TV show, but like deck building games, or games with power plays & player interaction, you owe it to yourself to check it out.”

“Games based on shows are oftentimes a great deal more disappointing than they are entertaining. In this case, Vikings: Raid & Conquer is a good example of a well designed deck building game.”
“This was a nice twist on deck building. If you get a chance to try it I definitely recommend it!”
“The production quality is top-notch. Well done. Overall, the feeling is that it’s a solid deckbuilder with some interesting twists (the Action shield, and the ability to take cards or raids from other players by attacking them). Out of the people I’ve played with so far, I’m the only one who watches the show. Although that may increase my enjoyment of the game, it’s wholly unnecessary to be familiar with the show to play the game just as well as someone who is familiar with the show. That’s a big plus when it comes to the design.”
Vikings: Raid & Conquer is absolute fantastic! I’ve never tried a deck-builder game before, but after a few turns I quickly fell in love. True to the characters and themes of the show, while still fun and engaging if you’re unfamiliar with it. I can’t wait to play it again!
Turns out that I ordered the wrong one, but I’m very pleased I did. This is my new favorite game, it was a little tough figuring out as I’ve never played a deck builder before but once we did its been amazing. Thank you guys so much … the game itself is amazing. Good job!
I just got my copy of Vikings Raid & Conquer and…it’s a thing of beauty. The production values are everything that was promised and the mechanics make a great addition to other deck builders.
Loving our first play of my wife’s surprise Christmas gift!
I have been fortunate enough to be able to play the game prior to release many times as part of the play testing group for the game. This game is a ton of fun and I have been able to play it for hours without becoming bored. I believe this is due partly to this being a deck building game (which themselves have a lot of replay-ability) as well as the unique player interactions that occur within the game. The ability to work together to accomplish a larger goal (although to the greater benefit of a single person), to work on your own for personal glory, or to even attack those you once called friends, the game has it all.
Just learned how to play, finished a few games. Its a great addition to the deck building genre, hope we can see some new card/boosters in the new year.
Just start off saying I have never seen the show, however no knowledge of the series is required to enjoy the game.
I was one of the lucky Alpha/Beta testers for this game so I have seen the games full evolution. There has been an incredible amount of effort into making a balanced game with many different pathways to victory. Want to brute force your way through the game, you got it, Want to sit back and let your opponents fight your battles, got you covered. Want to just buy your way to end, you betcha.
This isn’t just a dominion clone but it’s own very unique entity with it’s own dynamic elements. It is a worthy edition to any enthusiast of deck building games that want something unique.
